Students: Get caught when reading for fun this year! Anywhere! Any time! Staff will be on the lookout! Peering around corners! Peeping through doorways! Hanging around the bushes! If they catch you reading, they will fill out a "Got Caught Reading" slip with your name. The library will be collecting all those slips. We will count the slips in December and May. You will get to pick a special grab bag prize for every 10 slips. (Required reading for classroom lessons does not count.) Students who use audio books as their primary source will receive slips when actively listening to leisure time titles.Staff: "Got Caught Reading" slips & slip return boxes will be available at the library, in the "Library Materials Return" tub in the Jack Hall mail room, with Carolyn Delone at Jack Hall, and with Vera Woolf in Administration. Or call or email June or Kris and they will fill out slips for you. Slips will be collected every week. So… Students, get busy reading! And Staff, get busy catching! |
