Computers with "Magic"

 We have 2 large-screen computers in the library equipped with
Magic audio screen reading program
so that individuals who are blind can browse the catalog
or the internet, work on research papers, or check their e-mail.

The Sensory Zoo
A variety of mounted animals and birds are gathered in the library so students who are blind
can experience them hands-on. The collection was provided to the school
by the Alamogordo Breakfast Lion’s Club through Safari International.

Science Displays
Body models are available for teachers and students to borrow.

Staff Magazine Exchange
The Staff Magazine Exchange is new. Staff with subscription magazines
to share can donate them for other staff to enjoy.

Southwest Art
Murals and decorations made by artists and former students bring enjoyment to library visitors.
A collection of Kachina Dolls is also on display. Other cultures are represented with masks and artwork.
